Whether they walk on four legs or fly through the air, the animals we share our lives with are family. They bring personality, joy, and love into the homes of their guardians, and the gifts they leave us stay in our hearts forever.

An animal-lover all his life, Mark Salta has had pets of all shapes and sizes. Dogs, cats, birds, fish - they've all been cherished by Mark and his family throughout the years. If there is one thing he understands about pets, it's that they each have their own unique personality.

Mark began painting more than 30 years ago. While he loves crafting landscapes, scenes, and portraits of people, nothing brings him more joy than capturing the dynamic personalities of people's pets. He truly understands the deep connection we share with our pet friends, and he strives to capture that bond on canvas, creating an artwork to commemorate the unforgettable role these animals play in our lives.

Mark currently lives in Queensland with his wife and two papillions, energetic Toby and sweet-natured Georgie (also lovingly referred to as Monkey or Marie). He also frequently - yet reluctantly - babysits his grandson, a sassy miniture foxie named Chilli. and has recently introduced a little Labradoodle named Winnie!
